This is a legally binding agreement between you, the end user, and MAPSCO, INC., and its contractors, SOFTMAP TECHNOLOGIES (2002) INC., GEOGRAPHIC DATA TECHNOLOGY, INC. and GeoGraphs Software ⌐ 1995-2002 hereafter referred to as "MAPSCO". By using the maps, data, texts, images, videos and all other information stored on the CD-ROMs, jointly referred to as "MAPSCO DATA," you agree to comply with the terms and conditions hereunder, which include the LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR USING MAPSCO DATA, the DISCLAIMER, the LIMITED WARRANTY, plus an ACCEPTANCE CLAUSE. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, for full refund promptly return the MAPSCO DATA plus all items in its package that form a part of the product to the place where it was purchased.
MAPSCO retains all its proprietary rights without limitation over all MAPSCO DATA and only grants a LICENSE to use MAPSCO DATA under this agreement.
LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR USING MAPSCO DATA
In consideration of the payment of the LICENSE FEE included in the purchase price of the SOFTWARE and your consent to comply with the terms and conditions of this License and the Limited Warranty, MAPSCO, the GRANTOR, grants to you, the HOLDER, a non-exclusive license to use and run the SOFTWARE on one (1) microcomputer having only one central processing unit at only one location, insofar as the terms and conditions of the LICENSE are complied with. MAPSCO reserves all rights not explicitly licensed to the HOLDER.
Maps may be printed; however, any reproduction for commercial purposes is prohibited. For instance, you are prohibited from assembling and creating a city map, then replicating it for sales purposes. You cannot create a digital product, and derive maps for sales purposes. Should you have any questions or want to develop applications, please contact MAPSCO. This license is governed by the laws in force in the state of Texas, USA
DISCLAIMER AND LIMITED WARRANTY
MAPSCO only agrees to replace the CD-ROM providing it has a defect that makes its reading impossible on a computer that meets system specifications found on the packaging, and the HOLDER reports the defect to MAPSCO within ninety days following the product's date of purchase.
In addition, MAPSCO shall at all times be held harmless for damages of any type whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the use of this Mapsco software system, the data, or the maps, or even the impossibility of using them. At all times MAPSCOÆS only responsibility hereunder shall be limited to the amount paid for the CD-ROM.
ACCURACY
Maps and data are the products of MAPSCO, Inc. and Geographic Data Technology, Inc. MAPSCO attempts to provide its clients with the best maps or data available on the market, but because they are derived in part from public sources MAPSCO cannot at any time guarantee their accuracy.
PROPRIETARY RIGHTS OVER MAPS AND OTHER DATA
The maps and data stored on the CD-ROM are the property of MAPSCO,Inc - Copyright ⌐ 2002-2003 Mapsco, Inc. All rights reserved. Address data is the property of Geographic Data Technology, Inc. - Copyright ⌐ 2002-2003 GDT, Inc. The software viewing engine is the property of SoftMap Technologies (2002), Inc. - Copyright ⌐ 2002-2003 Softmap Technologies (2002) Inc.

Unauthorized use, including copying for other than testing and standard backup procedures, of any component of this product is expressly prohibited.

You hereby certify that you have read and understood this License Agreement and Limited Warranty, that you fully understand the terms and conditions with which you agree to comply.
